Robécolo

This research project is looking to design industrial robots using materials with a low environmental impact.

The aim is to demonstrate that the environmental impact of industrial robots can be significantly reduced by replacing the vast majority of metal or carbon composite materials with bio-based materials without affecting the robot’s reliability in terms of service life and mechanical performance.

The results from the theoretical component and simulation will be validated on a prototype designed specifically for the project.
