The aim is to demonstrate that the environmental impact of industrial robots can be significantly reduced by replacing the vast majority of metal or carbon composite materials with bio-based materials without affecting the robot’s reliability in terms of service life and mechanical performance.
The results from the theoretical component and simulation will be validated on a prototype designed specifically for the project.
